Week #1, Feb. 1. 2023. scavenger hunt

-so far, we have done a scavenger hunt where we go around the class and right down names for questions on the hunt paper.

-my biggest struggle of this week is probably settling into the class and starting the new semesters with mostly teachers who have never taught me before and getting used to a new schedule.

-my biggest success this week is having enough sleep and motivation in order to do work.

-my goal for next week would be feeling more comfortable in the new class.

-so far, I have done my photo montage, and I’m starting my next one.

my biggest struggle of this week is gluing all the pieces of paper and getting glue all over my fingers.

-my biggest success this week is starting to feel put together and dealing with my fear of public speaking in CLE.

-my goal for next week is to talk to my counselor about graduating early next year.

–this week, I was working on the tinfoil method for the artist trading cards.

-my biggest struggle was rubbing the paint off of the tinfoil

-my biggest struggle was coming up with an idea that i knew my skills could manage

-my biggest struggle was remembering what i did from week 3-4 because I forgot to do them.

Week #6 Mar. 6.2023 – Life Below Water.

Sea Otters. 

How They’re Affected:

Sea Otters are in danger to become extinct because of the oil that ends up in the water. The oils can bring hypothermia because it triggers their coats to lose abilities, it can as well bring pneumonia which is in affection that can affect their lungs. When otters try to clean themselves, they could digest it and it can affect their lungs and their digestive system.

How We Can Help Sea Otters:

In order to help sea otters from the oil spills, which is the biggest thing affected them right now, there’s are special floating barriers called “booms”. The booms help contain the oil and preventing from reaching animals. We could also be careful with our cars, and check for any oil spills regularly to help prevent the oils spilling & going down the drain.
