For my 3D Data Visualization project my group and I decided to create a 3D visual demonstrating information about bees. The information that our project portrays is, bee colony loss from 2017-2021 which is portrayed in the width of each honeycomb, and the rise in inflation from 2017-2021 which is demonstrated in the height of the honeycombs. We decided to make a project about how the loss of bees is impacting the rising inflation in British Colombia because inflation is effecting all of British Colombia and pretty much the entire world right now so it is making it a very prominent issue. We used honeycombs to create our project because bees generate beeswax which is the substance used to create honeycombs.
