Week 4 – Math 10

What did I learn this week?

This week, I learned how to do Trigonometry. We learned how to find the angles of triangles using “SOH CAH TOA”. For example SOH stands for Sin = O/H, CAH stands for Cos = A/H, and TOA stands for Tan = O/A. When finding the angles in triangles we will first label the sides with the Hypotenuse, Opposite, and Adjacent to make things easier. For example, the hypotenuse is always across from the 90º and is the longest side. The opposite is across from the given angle, and the adjacent is next to the given angle, and it is also the remaining side left.
