1. Was mitosis or meiosis easier to model?
For me, Mitosis was easier to model because there weren’t as many steps as Meiosis. Meiosis has a lot of steps that I had to include in my video, so I thought Mitosis was easier.
2. What was the most challenging thing in making your movie?
The most challenging thing in making my movie was when I had to keep my phone straight while taking the pictures so it would look nice. I did not want to move my phone too much because the movie would not have the best results.
3. What was the easiest thing to do in making your movie?
I think the easiest thing to do when I was making my movie was when I was setting up all the materials I needed to make my video.
4. How could you improve your movie?
I think that I could improve my movie by taking better pictures. For example, next time I could get a phone stand so that my camera would not move, and every picture would look the same.
5. Thinking about how you worked with your partner(s), what were some of the challenges and successes of working in a group?
In my group, I think one of the challenges was when we were trying to do equal amount of work. While one person was shaping the Play Dough and taking the pictures, the other person was editing the video and getting the materials. One success of working in a group was that we were able to both work on different things at once to save time.
6. Why is Mitosis important? In other words, what is the point of cells performing Mitosis?
Mitosis is important because it is the reproduction of cells. It is also important because it helps organisms grow.
7. Why is Meiosis important? In other words, what is the point of cells performing Meiosis?
Meiosis is important because it produce gametes. Another reason why Meiosis is important is because it helps humans grow.
