in this section of the measurement unit we focused more on the volume and surface area of specifically pyramids and cones. This unit is difficult because shapes like cones have tapered bottoms/ points. Also in this unit you recognize aspects like shapes within shapes. For example the vertical height, radius, and slant height of a cone form à right angle triangle which you can use to help solve problems.
This problem was a class example where we calculated the volume of a pyramid base on its height and square base.
