Surface Area and Volume

Today in clas we learned about surface area and volume. The difference between surface area and volume is that surface area is the sum of all the faces on an object. Volume is the amount of space an object occupies.

1A) S.A.= (12×2)+(8×2)+(6×2)=52 U 2

1B) S.A. = (6×2)+(8×2)+(16)+(20)= 64 U 2

1C) S.A. = (8×2)+(4×5)+(6)+(2) = 44 U 2

1D) S.A. = (8×2)+(6×2)+(8)+(4×3)+(4) = 52 U 2

2A) S.A. = (24×2)+(16×2)+(12×2) = 104 U 2

2B) S.A = (6×2)+(16×4) = 76 U 2
