I am hanging out on the playground by myself because everyone fears me and Junior is suspended, he is my only friend, Junior just came to school and said he has something to tell me. I thought it was going to be something like, he made a new comic, or he got straight A’s, but he said he was switching schools to Reardan, Reardan out of all schools… a white boy school. I am so mad that he is leaving “who am I going to hang out with, who am I going to go to when my dad beats on me? Why are you leaving Junior !? what about me? what are these dumb dreams of yours, you are not going to go anywhere in life. Going to this school will not change anything you will still be poor and have a poor job. I’m so angry just go away “what is Junior doing why won’t he leave and why the hell is he touching me? “Junior go away I will hit you if you don’t leave, Junior try and touch me again and I’m going to hit you. “He really touched me again ok that’s it” I hit junior right in the eye, he fell to the ground and his nose was bleeding. I felt bad because if I hit Him right in the head, he could have had a seizure, but I am still mad, so I do not really care. “I’m really going to miss that dork.”

Reflection:

I chose rowdy because he is really troubled and in the scene that I picked kinda shows how out of control he can get. I chose this scene because junior and rowdy are best friends and they have been since they where born and when junior told rowdy he was leaving rowdy got way to mad and should have handled it in a better way. I thought it would be entertaining to write about so I picked the scene. To bring rowdy to life I had to figure out what he was usually feeling but it was hard because the book was basted of Juniors prospective. Most of the time I just guest how he was feel which was pretty easy because his dad beats on him so it’s kind of obvious but he does hide it really well. When I was reading it out loud it sounded so much like a thing rowdy would say so I’m pretty happy with the words I picked.
