How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Give at least two examples.
My digital footprint can affect me many ways in the future. Whether it is when I am applying for a job or getting into a dream school, my digital footprint will always be just a search away. If I am trying to get a job and I have posted something inappropriate or unprofessional on the internet, then a manager or employee could easily search up my name, find those inappropriate posts and decide not to hire me because of them.

Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.
One strategy I could use is checking to make sure that what I am posting is appropriate and safe. Another strategy I could use is to make sure my accounts on social media are private so that my friends or people that I know are the only ones viewing my posts. The last strategy I could use always make sure the things I post do not reveal personal information about myself or others close to me.

What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?
I would tell other students to be careful with what they post because everything you post and do on the internet is never fully private. Even if you do delete something you have posted, it will not be deleted for good. Someone could have taken a screenshot or downloaded it on their device. I would also tell them that having a clean digital footprint is important for any job you have or may get in the future.
