For this assignment I decided to interview Corina Boettger, (also known as @corina.boettger on Instagram), is a voice actor known for voicing many characters from video games to TV shows.
I chose to message Corina because they are very talented at what they do and seem very passionate about their career. Currently I am still not sure about what I would like to have as a career and this assignment was perfect to talk about a career I might be interested in, that’s another reason why I chose to message Corina about their job as a voice actor.
I learned that there are many obstacles in any job but if you are willing to work for what you want to do and are truly passionate about what you do you can find ways around those obstacles. I also learned that voice acting is a job you need to practice for A LOT and it takes a lot of time.

1. Can you explain your roles and responsibilities with your current position?
My role is to act. That’s it
2. Why are you passionate about your job or role?
I’m passionate about it because I get to be free while doing it.
3. What obstacles have you faced to get you where you are today?
The obstacles I face more have to do with my physical & mental disabilities and finding accommodations for them in my job.
4. What advice would you pass on to someone interested in what you are doing?
Take acting classes with teachers that are currently in the industry and have been for at least 5-10 years
5. How was your process becoming a voice actor?
I took classes and started auditioning!
6. Are you considering other jobs or will you stay being a voice actor?
As long as it’s acting I’m doing it.
