Point slope form is another equation describing a linear equation.

You can use this when you only have the slope and one coordinate.

Point slope form is m(X1-X2) =Y1-Y2 or Y1- Y2= m(X1-X2)

If you have a slope of 6 and coordinates (4, -5) your poitn slope form would be 6(X-4)=Y+5

Once you have point slope form you can solve it to find new coordinates.
