Reflection:

Jacobsen syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that occurs due to a deletion in chromosome 11. This disorder affects only 1 in 100,000 newborns. There is currently no cure, however, there are several treatments for symptoms. Some of the symptoms include lack of coordination, delays in language development, ADHD and Autism. Depending on how serious the symptoms are, the affected individuals can make it to adulthood. While doing this project, I learned that there are many genetic disorders that can affect anyone, this is why it is important to know about abnormalities, so you can be prepared for anything.
