River of Reconciliation

week 1
week one going into the river of reconciliation project was very fun, I was able to find the media and image of how I wanted to convey this piece of art. I new from the beginning that I wanted this piece to have a 3D effect to it with textures, bright colors, and appeal as abstract art. some challenges I faced this week was finding the exact material I intended to use and their specific colors. I regrouped and was able to make this piece work with the material provided in the classroom and this actually played out very well. My goal for next week is to have my first piece of this artwork completed.
week 2/some days of week 3
going into week two was smooth for the most part I had completed most of my first piece, and was satisfied with the materials I had found in the class to use in this project. all the pieces fit perfectly into their sections, during the middle of me applying pieces of glass I doubted myself because I thought that this artwork was starting to look like a hot mess and didnt convey as the picture I was given. after a little recurrence I continue to procced and see the end result to then make my final decision, as I added more pieces of glass in their correct spaces it all started to come together little by little and I was able to see the image I had in the begging. all their is left to do is to is to add the smallest details to the first piece and see if I missed any spots. I have completed some of my other piece in my spare block in week 3 because i had missed some days of school. some challenges I faced these two weeks was stress, I felt very overwhelmed due to taking exhaustion, care of my puppy, completing other classes and completing my art an staying updated with my edublog. going forward I am trying to be more efficient and scheduled a best as possible. next week I should be done completing this reconciliation project.
