my own questions:
- (who) ———> who was the inventor of phosphorus?
- (what) ———> what is unique about phosphorus?
- (where) ——–> where was phosphorus found?
- (how) ———-> how was phosphorus made?
- (why) ———-> why is phosphorus so reactive?
- (when) ——–> when was phosphorus first discovered?
- ( whoa) ——-> what are some interesting facts about phosphorus?
(answers are below)
1) phosphorus was discovered by Henning brand, he was a German chemist, that became the first person known to discover a chemical element. before phosphorus was discovered Henning brand continued to study and do research on philosophers stone, in which could turn base metals into gold, then further down his discovery’s lead to an element called phosphorus. sadly Henning brand passed away in 1710 due too an unexplainable reason, in which his death was unknown.
2) phosphorus was such a unique element because different types of phosphorus would glow in the dark. Henning brand called this “cold fire”, because when white phosphorus would react to oxygen causing it to produce a green – whit light. phosphorus is also a unique element because most people call phosphorus the “devils element”, people believed this cause it would it would burst into flame right away and it was known to be the 13 element.
3) phosphorus was found in many minerals that are called phosphates, most ways by finding phosphorus was by mining and heating up calcium phosphate. in other words, phosphorus was not found in its natural form on earth, but it was found in thing, such as minerals. white phosphorus was found in urine, because urine naturally has dissolved phosphates in it in which creates a type of phosphorus.
4) phosphorus was made by urine. when Henning brand decided to heat urine until it had all evaporated, but he noticed that there was some residue left behind so brand decided to heat that residue left from the urine until it was red hot, in which then he had discovered a new element called phosphorus which he collected by putting them into water.
5) phosphorus is super reactive and really dangerous in ways because, its a super flammable substance, that we use today for matches to light fire. it can also be really reactive towards the growth of plants it will increase the growing levels to help plants grow nicely and faster when put in the fertilizer. so phosphorus is a helpful and dangerous element.
6) phosphorus was first discovered in 1669. this was discovered by a great chemist named Henning brand, he discovered phosphorus Hamburg, Germany. brand named his element cold fire because it would glow a green/ white light when it had created a chemical reactive with oxygen.
7) three interesting things about phosphorus is that number one red phosphorus is found on the side of matches which is very useful to us today and can be kind of dangerous because its highly flammable, and creates fire. the second interesting fact is phosphorus is not an English word but a Greek word, phosphorus means light. and the last fun fact about phosphorus is that it has 15 protons, and 15 electrons, along with 16 neutrons in it.
(my response is below)
1. I needed to use good, and understandable questions to find some good research to my questions. in other words I have to use good, wording and questioning in order to doing proper research.
2. I used google to do my research and through google I found some really cool websites that lead me to really good information.
3. I made sure I asked a good question then I made sure if the sites didn’t seem like they were fake or an ad I made sure that they would give me true information that I needed, then I checked my information to see if it was any good to use, an then after I verified everything was good I put it on my blog.
4. I cited they work by URL and to check if my info was correct I made sure it was a good site and not a scam or anything and I di some further research on other sites to see if they had totally different things if it was all the same then I new it wasn’t a scam or anything of that sort, then I used it on the blog
5. I think I could’ve maybe worded my questions a bit better, but other than that I think my process was pretty good!

Great information fluency post. I really like how you have found some great sub-questions to lead you to get a well-rounded perspective on your topic (I love the “whoa” question). You have shared some digital tools and cited your sources. Your debrief could have been more detailed but considers what you did well and what you could have improved upon.
I’m happy you enjoyed the information I’ve provided!:)
