~ Digital Footprint ~

In your future you have many opportunity’s, but there are ways your opportunity’s can be gone by using your digital footprint. Everyone posts things on there social media, but most of them are usually unpleasant. say you find a good job and you would be thrilled to get that job, that can be taken from you based on the things you do on social media, but there are more positive ways you can manage your social media, by simply not posting/searching anything you’ll regret in the near future. Always think before doing anything you’ll have doubts about. By doing these simple things you wont have to worry about the negative consequences based on your actions.

On the media you can prevent all negative impacts by being a kind, positive, and understanding individual online. Another suggestion is to not over share any personal information on the internet, because by over sharing personal things it could lead too a regretful outcome. My last tip would to be mindful of what your searching online, because say you type something on google search that’s not the right thing to be searching, and sooner or later you decide to delete it, but the thing is that it hasn’t actually gotten deleted all these things were typing and deleting are in a data storage called our digital footprint. So this is why I encourage others to just be mindful and cautious of what you searching and doing online.

I have learned a lot about digital footprints, but one thing that really stood out to me would be that the more you put  yourself out there on the media the more others can learn more about you, and find, and access more information off you weather its good or bad. That’s what I’ve learned just don’t share so much about yourself online, because its for your safety, and your future opportunities. My advice to other students or just anyone in general is that as long as your doing the right tings on the internet instead of using it for the wrong reasons that you’ll doubt in the near future then you have nothing to worry about.
