- Chlorine was discovered by Carl Wilhelm Scheele in 1774 who originally thought that it was oxygen when there was an reaction of manganese dioxide.
- Oxygen is a major use in steel production as well as everyday breathing. It is often used in medicine for those who have respiratory problems, this is also mixed with gas for aircrafts, and other vehicles.
- Chlorine is used to make water safe to drink, and is also used for cleaning the water in swimming pools. It is also used in many industries such as paper, plastic and medicine production.
- Oxygen is 1/5 of the worlds atmosphere and is the 3rd most abundant element in the entire universe.
- Some frogs contain a chlorine compound in their skin and acts as a very strong painkiller.
- I like oxygen more because it helps me breath and without it, I wont be alive.
