Core Comp. Reflection on Food Studies 10

Communication

  1. I connected and engaged with my fellow classmates in making different varieties of food, I made new friends with some of my new classmates, though they sometimes distracted me from the task at hand. I helped my group whenever I was needed and helped clean up the workspace afterward.
  2. All the information I learned in class was used during the food labs and presentations. With the info I was able to succeed in making/completing the projects and foods assigned in class. With information and instructions, I’m able to complete tasks easier than the tasks that don’t have instructions.
  3. When it came to making foods, I followed the recipe carefully and reread every step to make sure I hadn’t missed anything. I read all instructions given in teams assignments and completed them within a good amount of time.
  4. When it comes to experiences, I find myself more able to make my own foods using the recipes I learned in this course. I didn’t really know how to make any foods before this class, so now I can use those recipes to their full advantage and created foods I couldn’t make before. Now accomplishments, I was proud of how most of my projects and recipes turned out. I enjoyed interacting with my group and making the foods with them. Even if we did mess up on a couple of recipes, they were small mistakes that were fixed easily.
  5. I thoroughly enjoyed this course, and I will use what I learned further in life.
