For Science 10 we did a paper airplane project where we made three airplanes then measured the distance of them
planes:
- dart plane
- failed plane
- complex dart
The dart plane went an average distance of 17.4 meters, it broke apart a bit after we finished.
the failed plane went a distance of 19 meters, flew smoothly but was too heavy.
and the complex dart plane went 39 meters, we modified it to fly farther by folding the tips of it’s wings and adding a paper clip.
