2.Avocado Egg-in-a-Hole – Lunch

Part 2:

For my at home cook I chose to make the lunch recipe, avocado egg-in-a-hole.

For the lunch I didn’t have and avocado so I substituted it for bacon. How I made it was first I cut out holes in the bagel and then I cracked my eggs into separate bowls. I then added butter to the pan and cooked the bagel with the egg inside of the hole and waited for the one side to cook. Once the one side cooked I flipped it over and then I placed the cheese on top of the side that was already cooked so I could let the other side cook and I also sprinkled the egg with salt and pepper before I cooked it. As I was cooking the bagel and the eggs I was also cooking the bacon in a separate pan so there was no cross contamination. Once both the bagel and the bacon was done I grabbed three plates and placed them each on an individual plate to serve to my family.

Here are photos of my progress in creating my final product, and a photo of the end result. I also included a photo of my kitchen after I cleaned everything up.
