DEFINE: What is the deficiency you will be solving? Inspect your house and identify the most significant defect.
The problem I identified in my house was that the roof was slanted. DREAM: Considering you will be using Tinkercad and a 3D Printer, what innovative solutions to your deficiency can you imagine? Describe and design at least 2 possible solutions.
I designed a little piece to go in between 2 poles so the pole doesn’t break apart. Using this pole, I held it up against the roof to hold it in place.
DELIVER: How did your final product turn out? Print your design. Evaluate its quality and functionality.
The pole worked out very well and managed to hold the roof up. (The black pole is the design I printed)
DEBRIEF: How did the process go? Provide an overview of the process, including challenges faced and workarounds.
The process was fun and easy. Some of the challenges I faced was getting the correct measurement from the house and calculating the perfect size for the pole. I worked with Mrs. Henderson to figure out and get some ideas on what I should do. After a couple of minutes, we all came up with an idea on what we should do to make the house more stable. We came up with making the pole, We made two of them both being at around 115 cm so once we stack them up together its 230 cm, Making the floor more stable and making it look more proper.
