If it’s a grease fire, put a lid on it to choke the fire and deprive it of oxygen.
If it’s an electrical fire, try unplugging the device that’s on fire if possible, sometimes it’s the current that keeps the fire alive.

Hold under water for 10 minutes to stop the continuing burning sensation.
Do not pop the burn blister, as it will leave a scar.
Chemicals
Store away from food storage and contact areas, to keep the food safe.
Do not mix two different cleaning substances, to prevent creating a gas that will slowly melt your insides. Which was used in the war.
Slips/Trips/Falls (i.e. how to prevent)
Never running in the lab, to prevent slipping from oil, or tripping.
Put everything back to where it belongs when not in use to prevent someone from tripping over it.
Cuts (i.e. how to prevent/how to treat)
Point the knife away from yourself, to prevent accidentally stabbing yourself.
Use the three-finger claw technique to keep the knife from the tips of your fingers.
Heavy Lifting (i.e. of a bag of flour)
Get someone from the group to help lift, to avoid back injury.
Be aware of your surroundings, to prevent bumping into someone or something.
How to Prevent Food Poisoning
Always use a clean cutting board, to prevent things like salmonella.
Never put cooked meat on the same surface it was on when it was raw because the bacteria left from when it was raw can transfer
Waste Management
Having the waste bin in the washing area to be able to more easily dispose of food scraps before rinsing and washing them.
Frequent maintenance to keep bad odors away.
Personal Hygiene
Use a hair tie if your hair is long enough to go under your shoulders, to keep your hair from getting into food, and getting your hair dirty.
Use an apron to keep clothes clean from ingredients.
