I learned how to write a spoken word which is something I’ve never done before. I learned how to change the way I speak and change the speed when I present it. Also, I learned how to write interesting essays with detailed information and proper sentences. I learned how to keep the reader interested and how to hook them in and conclude. My best memory of English this year was when we did talking circles because they were super fun and it was a great break from all the work for a nice 20 minutes. It also helped break peoples comfort zones which is also good. For next year I really need more work on short stories because writing stories is definitely not in my skill set due to my lack of imagination. So next year I need to focus on this unit more and be able to make these stories interesting and fun rather than bland and boring.
