What I thought about these poems is that they all had bigger meanings than they seemed. I didn’t originally think learning about the auther was important but now that we’ve done it and saw how the time of when the poem was written and where the auther was from really put a whole diffrent spin on each poem. Also the poems where a lot more worldly than I thought when I first read them compared to when we researched the authors.
