I am proud of the consistent high scores I achieved on every assignment. The thing I would do differently next year is make the spoken word final. (And quite frankly this year I feel like I got robbed) And to achieve this I need to not speak in a monotonous voice while presenting said spoken word. I liked doing the restaurant review assignment because I was allowed to write about KFC and South Park and still get a 9/10. I learned the most during the debate assignment because I plowed through 2 different wikipedia articles about Wiley College and multiple articles about school uniforms. I think we should watch more movies like “The Great Debaters” (79% on RT, 7.6/10 on imdb, 4/4 Roger Ebert) and Much Ado About Nothing (91% on RT, 7.4/10 on imdb, 3/4 Roger Ebert) and less movies like The Book Thief (46% on RT, 1.5/4 Roger Ebert) to improve thus class.
