When you have two lines graphed and you are finding the solution, use test points for both lines and the areas on the graph that get shaded twice is your solution.

Always find a way to isolate Y and make it positive. With a point like x – 3y > 0, you can move Y over to the other side to make the equation X > 3y + 0.

With the previous step above it would make out to x > 3y. The next step is to divide both exponents by 3: x/3 > 3y/3. The equation will now be x/3 > y. The X/3 is your slope and because nothing else is in the equation, Y starting point is 0
