SMART Goals Reflection

SMART GOAL REFLECTION

What was your goal?

My goal was to walk more places instead of driving for a week. Some of the places I was going to walk were school, my friend’s houses, my sister’s house and to the park.

Did you achieve it? How or how not?

Yes I achieved my goal of walking more places for a week. Some of the places that I walked were to my friend’s house, to school and back home, to the park and around my Dad’s neighbourhood. Usually I don’t walk to school or my friend’s houses, so it was a different experience and I think I will do it all the time.

What was the most challenging part of achieving your goal?

I think the most challenging part was getting the motivation to walk places and figuring out the weather if it was going to be nice or if it was going to be raining. Luckily most of the time it was sunny and hot so it was beautiful weather to walk places.

What would you do differently next time?

What I would do differently next time is plan the extra time to get places and figure out places to walk in advance.

Will you continue on with this type of goal? If you do, explain what you will do. If not, explain why you are satisfied with where you are at.

Yes, I will probably continue this goal because it saves my parents from driving me places where I could walk to and it saves the environment because cars release pollution into the air. Also, I get more exercise and I get to enjoy the wilderness. What I would do is walk to school every day, walk to friend’s houses whenever I want to hangout and walk to my sister’s house if I am going over there.
