Week 14 – Pre Cal 11 – Trigonometric Ratios

This week in Pre Cal, we started with a review about trigonometry from Math 10, and we started to build up on what we’ve learn in which we “updated” some of the things in Trigonometry. Primarily, we updated the three primary trig ratios which are the sine, cosine, and tangent, or can also be known as the “SOH CAH TOA.” Furthermore, I learned about the standard position in it has a terminal arm (aka the hypotenuse) and a terminal point in which it has a coordinate (x,y). Additionally, I learned that the hypotenuse is the radius, while the opposite is the given y-value, and the adjacent is the given x-value.
