Life is All About Experiences

Whistler Blackcomb was a great place that I had visited as the tremendous views from the ground up to the peak of the mountains amazed my eyes. The cool breeze in a blindingly hot sun embraced me as I stepped out of the car, and towering mountains covered in snow, and lively villages welcomed me. The tourists crowded the plaza with their cameras and festive souvenir stores. As we line up for the gondola, both excitement and nervousness gushed through me as we come forward. When we got inside the gondola, I got a little bit scared as we go up a thousand feet from the ground. But later on, my eyes were in awe as I can see the view from above; the villages and buildings are shrinking, and the towering trees are just below us.
After a twenty-five-minute ride, we have arrived at the top of the mountain. As soon as I got down the gondola, the aroma of coffee and grilled BBQ filled my nose, and people chattering filled my ears. The clouds are slowly breaking apart, and a glimpse of blue sky starts to appear as we roam around the summit of the mountain. I began to feel excited as Whistler Blackcomb had a lot of fun things we can try so I can have fun and enjoy the nature’s beauty and to also end the day with a smile formed on my lips. The summit is surrounded with its neighbor mountains and the snow-coated it like cookies coated in powdered sugar. The clouds are slowly drifting apart from each other, clearing the sky. The scenery is undeniably breathtaking that my phone storage is starting to get full of taking so many pictures of the view, but it does not bother me at all because the landscape is extraordinary that I think my memory will not forget this day.
We walked down the hill, ready for another ride to the uppermost part of the mountain. The lift was different from the gondola; I could feel the wind blowing my hair, and I could hear it whistling. While both of my feet are off the ground; seating down and looking up as I go up to the peak of the mountain. The bright ruling sun is blinding my sight as we are facing it and trying to reach it. The rocky slope looked satisfying to stare at as the pure white snow blended with the rough rocks at the slope’s surface. When we got up to the peak, the sky is bright and vibrant, the sun’s high up, but there are no signs of clouds. But when I walked at the side, there I saw a sea of clouds, and from afar I can see the other mountains coated with thick white snow. My eyes were stuck in awe again for the ninth time, and it reminded me of looking outside the airplane window with the same scenery, which is very cool. After roaming around the whole area and taking photos, we decided to go down and take a rest for a bit and go to another ride – which is called Peak 2 Peak. When we were going down at the lift, I can see the view from above with a larger depth of field than from what I saw from the Gondola ride.
My family relatives and I went to the Peak 2 Peak ride. And they said that it goes to the other side of the mountain and it’s going to be a longer ride than the two previous trips we went on earlier. The gondola was thrice larger than the first ride that three cows might even fit in here. We went on, and there were 18 people inside, and three-quarters of the people inside were my group. When we have arrived, my legs seemed to fell asleep from sitting down for too long, but my eyes were wide awake during the whole ride. We got down to the other side of the mountain. The summit is almost the same as the previous mountain we’ve gone on, but the only difference is that its neighbor mountains are close to where I am standing. We stayed here for a few minutes and decided to go back. We lined up for the gondola and waited for fifteen minutes because we wanted to try the gondola with a transparent glass window at the window. The ride was spectacular because not only I get to see the scenery around me from the window, I also can see the view through the glass; The towering trees are just below us, and a long trail is evident as we cross the flowing river. We went back to the twin of this gigantic gondola and got down to the center village. As soon as I left the site, it felt like I’m back to reality; no more snow on a hot sunny day and no more a thousand feet rides, but Whistler Blackcomb was one of the best places I went to this summer.
