Modelling Mitosis

Interphase, the Cell is still doing its normal functions, nothing new.
Early Prophase, nucleolus says “I’m out of here” & disappears while the spindle fibres form.
Metavers- I MEAN METAPHASE!  Due to the chromosomes being diagnosed with severe OCD, they align to the centre (equator) of the cell.
PULL, PULL, PULL!  In the Anaphase, the spindle fibres pull the heck out of the chromatids to the opposite sides of the cell.
Telophase, the spindle fibres disappear into nothing while the nuclear membranes form.
Cytokinesis is where the cell divides into 2.
This is basically the same as the top image but with a nucleus.

  1. Great work including pictures, captions, and descriptions of the complete process of mitosis. Your post is very effective in explaining how mitosis works.
