FA 12 – CC

This semester in financial accounting 12 I used my critical thinking CC to get me through the course. For example, I used critical thinking to identify errors and inconsistencies. To elaborate, critical thinking helps in identifying errors or inconsistencies in financial records. It is important to question inconsistencies and seek explanations to ensure the accuracy of financial statements. For example, this skill is applied when working through the accounting workbook. The questions are very interactive and require critical thinking and logic to be able to analyze the questions.

Core competencies – pre calc 11 – Aidan S

For my reflection I chose critical thinking cc. Since the start of math this semster, I have bettered by my critical thinking by analyzing and interpreting the material that I was taught in pre calculus 11. I had be a detective in some cases to understand how certain formulas work, or why a graph looks the way it does etc. I also had to think critically about how I was going to prepare myself for exams/evaluations so that I could get the best possible grade.

Here is an example of some visual learning that was done on the whiteboards.

Core Competency Math 9 Aidan Starr

I have demonstrated critical thinking by thinking of ways that better performance in math and improve my grades like making my self a study routine that I have found useful to me and that has improved my grades. My first math test I scored a C+, and my most recent math test I have improved to an A. I have done this by asking questions, studying with friends and thinking of ways that can calm test anxiety which have all lead to improved performance. I can look over my errors and reflect on them, ask for help and learn where I went wrong to improve for next time.
