Edible DNA Model

This is a model of a DNA strand when separated from the cell. It looks like a twisted ladder, or more specifically a double helix. The sides made of licorice represent the backbone of the DNA, and the marshmallows are the bases of A, C, G and T. DNA is present in all living things and plays an important role in creating who you are.
