- Do all the homework. Its good for practice and so you won’t cram your studying the day before the test.
- Take notes in class. To understand something, it helps to write notes.
- Pay attention in class. You won’t understand certain things unless you listen in class
- Do blog posts. Helps yo remember strategies and key concepts in math.
- Participate in class
Some mistakes I made on this essay include; commas, grammar, and some mistakes with quotes. One big one however, is not using “big , swords”. Also I didn’t really use transition words at all. Next time I hope to apply all of these correctly and properly.
Some things I did well was; making a good thesis, supporting my reasoning and using quotes that are relevant. Overall I think I did the best I can do on this essay, next time I hope to continue the things I did well.
I woke up with an empty stomach and a loss of hope; however, I was thankful to live another day. My bunk mates were as dreary and depressed as I was. As I got up, I can spot many corpses of men lying everywhere, some bodies were rotting. The stench was out of this world in this bunker. Walking down these crowded bunkers along side other men is something I’ve gotten use to as I’ve been here for a long time. Sliding up against their bony, cold, and pail bodies makes me sick. Many men are crying, sobbing, screaming, and grumbling because of their current situations. You can also hear the children and women doing the same. My body is like a rusty car that is barely functional. Everything hurts from my joints, to my head, and to my insides.
I learned how to determine if a relation is a function. There are two ways that I know of to prove if its a function. Firstly, one way is to see if a input shows up more then once. Every input is mapped out to exactly one output. However, two different inputs can have different outputs just as long as the inputs are different. The other way to figure out if a relation is a function is the Vertical Line Test. If you draw a vertical line that intersects at only one point of the graph, it is a function. If it intersects more than once then it’s not a function. The only real challenge is paying attention on a graph or in ordered pairs, because its easy to get things mixed up.
X intercept- A point on a graph where the graph intersects the x-axis and the x intercept happens on the point of the graph where the y-coordinate is zero.
Y intercept- A point on a graph where the graph intersects the y-axis and the y intercept happens on the point of the graph where the x-coordinate is zero.
You apply these two when it comes to solving equations on a graph, determining it algebraically. A challenge that I see myself doing is remembering which value is zero, either x or y. Another challenge is sometime solving it algebraically can be confusing for one. You would use this on a graph and finding values for the following intercepts.
