This week of Math 10 we learned more about polynomials and reviewed previous work we have done. I chose to do my blog post on area modules because they have helped me both understand and correctly solve my expression.

Step one: looking at the equation and understanding the amount of terms which will help make your diagram more proficiently.

Step two: create rectangle shape and distribute the numbers that are paired in the brackets, so 2x+3 at the top and 2x+7 along the side.

Step three: now all you have to do is multiply the four numbers based on where they are located, you go across so 2x on the side multiplies by 2x on the top and 3 on the top, then 7 multiplies by 2x on the top and 3 on the top.

You could initially just distribute from both brackets, while this technique will help with simpler questions.
