The ocean is filled with creatures all over but what I want to focus on is the creatures at the bottom of the ocean like the one in finding nemo with the light hanging between his non-existent eyebrows.

The meaning of megalodon is “BIG TOOTH” so its already a little scary. The megalodon is 18 meters (59ft) with the average size a couple meters smaller at 10.5 meters (34ft) even though there extinct there still the largest shark in history. They died about 23 to 3.6 million yeas ago during the early Miocene to the Pliocene. The force of their bite is 110,000 to 180,000 newtons (25,000 to 40,000lbf/pounds) there teeth were thick and meant for grabbing prey and breaking bones. They had 276 teeth spanning over 5 rows and 2 meters (7ft) across. It targeted large prey for example whales, seals and sea turtles. The extinction of the megalodon increased other water animals’ species such as the baleen whales.

The blue whale is known to be the biggest animal to exist at 98 to 100ft and it weighs 190 short tons. When the blue whale jumps up for air, they can reach the height of 9meters (30ft) high and higher at 12meters (39ft) there lung compacity is 5,000 liters (1,300 u.s gal.) They also have twin blow holes for air which are guarded by a splashguard and their flippers are 3-4meters (9.8 – 13.1ft) long. The blue whale can go as fast as 50KM per hour when they interact with other whales but when there alone, they go a bit slower at 20KM per hour is typically their normal speed and when there feeding, they slow down to 5KM per hour.
