This week in math we learned how to factor ugly polynomials. we used a flow chart to determine if the were the certain characteristics of ugly and non ugly polynomials.
The flowchart goes like this:
GCF(WLO)difference of squares (binomial)
Trinomial pattern x^2 +/- x +/- #
Easy x^2
Ugly #x^2
So you take what the equation looks like and narrow it down to what it is on the chart. Then you factor the equation.
You factor ugly polynomials by figuring out the factors of the coefficient and then factor it as a normal polynomial.

Do we just need the factors of the coefficient? Your explanations are a bit too brief to be convincing. A bit more detail would really help.
