If you’re looking to eat some delicious burgers and you happen to be in Victoria, you have to stop by one of the three Bin 4 burger lounge restaurants,  it is definitely worth seeking out.  If you are craving a classic burger or you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, Bin 4 has something for you.  Many of the burger combos on their menu don’t sound like they would go together but the chefs experiment with flavors to create the best burgers in town.  With your burger you get a choice of fries, chips, or a mix of both, but to make your side pop, you can pick from a menu of dips, from basil aioli to lime and tomatillo hot sauce, there is dip to suit you.  The atmosphere at Bin 4 is very modern and funky, but when you walk in it feels warm and homey.  It was the most unique experience I have had at a burger joint and every time I visit the island I want to go back.  At Bin 4 if you are seated after 9:00 pm every burger entree is half off,  it’s a great deal but it tends to get a little crowded which really adds to the atmosphere.  Burger entrees usually are $12 – $16 but after 9:00 its a much better deal, they have salads and appetizers for a reasonable price as well.   If you want to go I would recommend the “Dirty Bourbon” or the seasonal featured burger because the best burgers are only available for a short amount of time.  You must also try their deep fried pickles, the first time I went we ordered them and to be honest I don’t like pickles but after being fried they were a delicious appetizer.  The beef, chicken, pork, and bison is all farmed locally on Vancouver island and in the lower mainland, so you can count on freshness and quality.  Where as most competitors use beef and other meats from the US or the prairies which is sometimes frozen.  They have a large selection of BC wines, draught and bottled beer, local craft brewed sodas, and house made drinks.
As a business featured on “You gotta eat here” it was praised for having fresh ingredients and amazing burgers.  I knew the moment I stepped into Bin 4 it was going to be my favourite restaurant.  You know you are at the right place to get burgers when you walk in and all you smell sizzling fresh beef on the grill and hear a sports game on at the bar.  I would have never thought to have gone here if my cousins didn’t live in Victoria.  My cousins go one a weekly basis because they like it so much and it is a great deal.  The first time I went was for a family dinner with my cousins, I will always remember how much fun I had there and how friendly the staff were.  My following visits were just as good as the first time and I am hoping that my future visits will be awesome.    To quote the great John Catucci “You Gotta Eat Here”.
