This week we did bearings, I did not understand how to work smarter on one of the questions in the work book so i worked harder. When Mrs. Burton showed us the website that shows how the bearings work. http://www.transum.org/Maths/Activity/Bearings/ .
For example, the direction of A from B is 030º.
030º is an example of bearing, bearings 3-digit numbers used to show the degree from north increasing clockwise and are very commonly used in boating and aviation, the way bearing are measured is by starting north and the angles move clockwise and will go all the way till 360 Degrees.
North= 000º East= 090º South= 180º West= 270º
These are all examples of bearings,
030º
190º
273º
89º

How do these bearing then connect with trig?
