The first question that i asked was what was his biggest motivator when life got rough or you felt like giving up

his answer was: My biggest motivation was my upbringing. Every time an obstacle presented itself i would always revert back to my living conditions from my childhood. Knowing that i’m playing for my family is another motivating factor. If i gave up on myself then i give up them and i’ll never give up on them. I’ve always had an immeasurable sense of pride that made me think i could conquer anything, and the pride that i have would never allow me to not overcome an obstacle.

My second question was would you ever interact with other riverside students

my third question was who’s your biggest inspiration in your life

his answer was My biggest inspiration is my mom. She’s the strongest person i know. i’ve seen her overcome several obstacle first hand. She puts everyone before herself and is the most selfless person i know. She’s a person i aspire to be like

My fourth question was if you had to chose career path what would it be

His answer was honestly i’m not sure. but probably something along the lines of coaching. Getting the chance to impact and provide younger people with a foundation of discipline and life skills is something i want to do when my career is over.

My fith questions was why do you play basketball

his answer was I love the thrill, the grind, and most importantly the competition. It’s a game that is directly applicable to and the habits you build playing this game will positively alter how you live your life off the court. The lessons it teaches you about overcoming adversity and hard work is priceless.

My sixth question was what’s your favorite pre game meal

his answer was Honestly i don’t really eat a lot before games because i’ll throw it up.
