The Masterpiece that is Moxie’s Grill and Bar

When it comes to casual restaurants, Moxie’s is basically everything you’d expect. Right off the bat, the service is excellent as you are greeted at the door with politeness and enthusiasm. The atmosphere in the bar half is expected to be a sportier environment, the games are always on, and if there are no games, there is always sports highlights, the customers are always happy and cheerful as they grab a drink and some great tasting food with their buddies. On the dining half, you have a more casual environment, you still have a fun vibe as the other customers are enjoying themselves, and of course, the sports are always on TV. You’ll also notice the very modern design with very spectacular tile work, granite works and flooring.  The colours of walls, tables and floors are solid colours with accents of other darker colours, to accommodate this, they decorate the restaurant with nice vibrantly coloured paintings and bright red bar stools, two tone seating areas, and in some restaurants, the back walls are black and red, also depending on the restaurant, they might have some coloured lights to add a little more enthusiasm. All the counter-tops and tables have nice smooth surfaces and all the seats, be it a booth or a chair, are very soft and are guaranteed to ensure comfort as you enjoy your experience.  The food is extraordinary and the appetizers are definitely something to return for, especially their signature garlic bread and bruschetta made from fresh ingredients. For the main course, you have most of the options that you’d expect to find at a steakhouse, and then of course, the special of the day. Before you even take a bite, you will be greeted with a huge barrage of different smells, all depending on what you order, it’s always a more satisfying smell. The price point is a bit on the expensive side, but for what you get, it’s well worth the money. The reason why this restaurant is special to me is because I spent most of my childhood in more isolated parts of Saskatchewan, so whenever we went into Saskatoon or Regina, we’d go to Moxie’s for their bruschetta and their main courses, I really enjoyed this because I saw that my parents we’re having a great time, so it just engraved memories for me to really enjoy whenever I go back to Moxie’s. In conclusion, this is definitely a place to consider, and it’s even a great place to take the family of some friends.
