Seed drill They use horse to connect the seed drill and it panted  3 rows of seeds and before that they used there a hands and they just through it on the top and birds would take them and some would never grow and if they wore lucky some did grow and with the horses the seeds would get covered by dirt . The seed drill today is  bigger and  more seeds get put into the ground and it also covers the seeds by putting dirt back over them There bigger and stronger puts more seeds in the ground
 4,crop rotation They all did the crop rotations by hand and they did over 200 crops a day Now the crop rotation are new machines and they do it more then any man or woman could do and there are now a days people still do it by hand and that is ok to
Selective

Breeding

Before it was the same way of breeding except they did not Slaughter the animal right after they waited until it got healthy and then they would kill it for meat and cloths . It takes now a lot of machines to breed animals and then after the breeding they slaughter the animals and then the young  they get older and then the same thing happens and the breeding is still the same today but sometimes they use machines for it to happen faster.
Cash crops They tried to make money before as well as they did today and from that point on they all made enough crops and skin from the animals to make enough money to sell All farmers try and try to sell a lot of there crops to make money and then it becomes a business and they

  1. What are the major innovations or systems that were new to the Industrial Revolution and what were their effects? (Crossroads – Chapter 7 – pg 236-244) In what ways is it still present today? How is it different today?
Innovation or System Effects Presence Today (similarities) Differences Today
Textile industry The textile industry is owned by children as slaves and they can move freely except for when they have there half  an hour and they won’t give them any more time and the will sell for a better profit They don’t do that any more because the law will throw you in jail if you try and have a slave so you can’t do that any more so then the textile industry and they will only use people who want good moneys and a good job.
Steam and coal They can be powered by a lot of different things and they will try and power things to produces food and then they were used to power trains and they can beat up to your rooms and make you feel comfortable They are the same because the things that were being used for steam and Cole There are still thing that are powered by steam and coal and then they will try and power things by hand but it did not work so they made things to produces food and they will make the rooms worker still so you can feel better than making it youself
iron There are lots of thing that are made by iron and making things stronger then normal things and they can move things with big iron blocks ant they can be used for decorous and then the could also be used for more heat then It is used for many things like bulldozers and tractors and fire places and there is a lot more to

  1. What are the major societal changes that were new to the Industrial Revolution and what were their effects/importance? (Crossroads – Chapter 7 – pg 245-254) In what ways is it still present today? How is it different today?
Innovation or System Effects/importance Presence Today (similarities) Differences Today
Laissez faire It is about laws that you have to fallow and then help other people understand what you have done And for us we have government to make are laws to understand
Workers’ rights The worker’s rights are ok but they can be better because for one thing if you get beaten if you stop or you get hung up side does and you also will get chained to the walls  only half an hour brake You don’t get to go home but both get half an hour lunch And now there are not things like that if you stop your work nothing it is just like giving yourself a brake and you also get a lunch but you also get to go home
Child labor Is ok back then because the children would be making the higher people rich and they would ask hire slaves There are no child labor because you could get put in jail or you could get a fine from a police officer or you could also get a ticket
Class There is a higher class and a middle class and the low class witch is people that are slaves and used for lots of other work the middle class has a little bit of money that can make them live for a wile and then there is the higher class witch o’s rich There are not maney people that are rich but there are some rich people and then most of the people just have enough and then you can live for quite a long time and yes there also is pore witch   they live on the streets

  1. How did Britain react to the new changes of the Industrial Revolution?
Reaction Importance Presence Today (similarities) Differences Today
Poor laws They had really poor laws that they would be getting beaten and Almost killed because of the poor laws No steeling We don’t have poor laws we just have ok laws like speeding laws no steeling laws or you’re a shop lifter
Social reformers There are ok then when they start to get any more social services and they can talk to one another about this
Factory acts The factory acts is when children and others go to try make some sort of profit
Abolition of slavery And they had many slave to make other things to produces food but people get little bit of money
