Topic: Multiplication of polynomials part 2

I learned how to solve a little bit longer polynomials in this week. First, I’m going to write an example of a little bit longer polynomial.

(2x+1)(x² +5x-8)=2x³+10x²-16x+x²+5x-8

=2x³+11x²-11x-8

We can use this diagram to solve it.

I think we should not use algebra tiles for this question. Because it takes a long time to solve and tile counting error occurs. We need to manage the time on the test so I am always trying to solve the problem easily and accurately,
