Week 8- 4.4 Analyzing Quadratic Functions in Vertex/Standard Form

The vertex form can also be called as standard form.

The vertex form of the quadratic function is y = a(x-p)²+q, where “a” is vertical expansion/reflection and determines the direction of opening. (p , q) is the vertex, and the axis of symmetry is given by the equation x=p.
