2081 Charter of Rights and Freedoms tylerl2015 on September 27, 2016 The short story Harrison Bergeron is about a perfect America where everyone is equal to one another and if you are better at something you will be forced to wear handicaps like scrap metal ear transmissions and face modifications/masks. Looking at the 13 amendments America has turned into a terrible place where no one can excel at anything and it is ruled by people who don’t get what being equal really meant. In #208 it states that you are not allowed to leave the country which represents that the leaders of the country don’t want anyone escaping to live a better life somewhere else
