My Digital Footprint – Tyler Kerswell

How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Give at least two examples

if your future employers find a post about you doing something illegal or if they find that your account is filled with negative things then they are probably not going to employ you in the first place. IIf your family finds those posts or maybe even your children then they might lose respect for you and not want to be around you anymore also.

Strategies to keep your digital footprint safe and appropriate.

Don’t post anything that you are going to regret in the future because the things that you post are going to be there forever and it will affect your life sometime in the future.

You should also be careful of what you search and do on the web because everything that you do is being monitored

And don’t overshare, no one wants to know when you are going to the bathroom or what you’re eating for every meal of your life.

Information that I learned that I would pass on to other students.

I think some words that I would pass on would be to think your actions through even when you’re in public and you think you’re not being recorded, you probably are. So don’t ruin your life with one thing you did when you were 16 just be smart about it.
