5 things that made me successful (somewhat) in math 10

1: Trigonometry

This was my strongest unit and gave me the confidence going forward. It’s also the only reason my mark stayed above 50% for most of the year.

2: Jay

Jay has helped me a lot with slopes and he clarifies things I don’t understand. Jay was very friendly to everyone and has helped me keep my mark above 50%

3: My outside school tutor

Every Monday after school I had an hour and a half of math 10 tutoring. This helped me gain confidence with certain subjects and helped me understand them a lot more than I did before. (I still failed tests but that doesn’t matter)

4: Daily Practice

Every day after school, when I’m not being tutored I was doing extra math printed out fromĀ  online. This helped me keep ideas fresh in my mind and helped me get a better understanding of the subjects even if I got a question wrong, I could look it up in the answers sheet and try and see where I made my mistake.

5: Days when Alyssa wasn’t here

No offense to Alyssa, but I was constantly distracted by Alyssa throughout the entire semester. The days when she wasn’t here I feel like I do better and pay attention a lot more.
