The book The Martian, by Andy Weir is about how resourceful humanity can be. When an astronaut and botanist is marooned on Mars after his research team left him, he, and many other humans on Earth band together and end up bringing him home to earth. This shows that humanity relies on each other and how resourceful and creative humanity can get. in the book, NASA had to rush probes and try everything at their disposal to bring the astronaut home. This book shows the courage that humans can have. The Astronaut had barely any chance of living but managed to hold onto hope, and when humans have hope, they can do amazing things, like grow potatoes on Mars.
