The app I am reviewing is called “Atom Builder”

atom

This app lets you put the correct number of Protons, Electrons, and Neutrons into the specific Element.

The Questions I have for this app are:

  • Is it easy to use?
  • Performance?
  • price?
  • Can anyone use it?
  • Specific devices?
  • Does it help with work?
  • Layout?

1. Is it easy to use?

Yes this app is very easy to use, all you have to do is swipe the number row all the way to the number you will need, but if you don’t know how many electrons there are it won’t tell you where your mistakes are.

2. Performance?

The performance of this app is a 7/10 because there are some bugs, for Example on the iPad the app doesn’t go to the edge of the screen and sometimes it will just crash randomly. So if you are looking for something that will be consistent, its a maybe

3. Price?

The price of this app is absolutely free. I wouldn’t suggest buying this app if it cost money because it is not the best app in the world for building atoms.

4. Specific Devices?

Yes, people with Androids can not use this app, but people with and iPhone, iPad, or iPod can use this

5. Can anyone use it?

I think that Grade 5 and up would be fair because you would have to know a lot about the element and how many electrons you need or neutrons you need.

6. Does it help with work?

Depends where your asking, if your doing it to find the protons its probably a waste of time, but if your trying to find how many electrons you need when it says +2 then it may help.

7. Layout?

The layout of this app is pretty good for a free app. It is kind of hard with the number row because it is kind of buggy. Problems are it doesn’t tell you how you are wrong. (It says incorrect) It is also made for the older versions of iPhones (4 and lower)
