socials reflection

i felt this was my favorite piece of work from socials as i was able to research a member of confederation that we didn’t cover in class and find out his role in a larger part of Canadian history

Reflection.
Our group began the project by searching unique chili recipe’s. We wanted to make our chili stand out, so we searched recipe’s that would do that. We found a recipe for Fruit and Nut chili, that used apples and almonds as specialty ingredients, with curry, cocoa powder, and cinnamon as well. Making our recipe, we combined our ingredients well and fast, to start simmering our recipe for long as possible. In the beginning, we thought it wouldn’t turn out as well as it did. The curry flavour was strong, so we changed the name to Indian Fusion. We all mostly worked well as a group, to complete the chili, and contributed as much as possible. It was chaotic the day we made the chili, because everyone was rushing to find their ingredient. Kevin spent most of the time “holding up the counter” and playing on his phone, instead of helping us out. We would give him jobs, but he would complete them while still on his phone, and again go back to doing nothing. The judgment day, we got out bread in the oven quickly, and we reheated the oven. Jayna was focused on the bread that day, Sabrina on the presentation, and Tommy was on dishes, and helping when necessary. Kevin did Some of the drying, and grated some cheese, but continued his tradition of doing nothing. The clean up wasn’t to the best of our abilities, as we finished just after the bell rang. We think that the chili tasted well, and the presentation was good, and the cheese bread came out golden brown. We are proud of the final product.
