This week in Pre Calculus 11 we were introduced to adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing mixed and entire radicals. To fully understand this unit you must be able to convert your entire radicals to mixed radicals and in reverse. The biggest thing people forget when doing these exercises is to simplify their radicals. This part of the unit was hard for me because I found it hard to convert a mixed radical into an entire and vise-versa. The way I need to improve myself is by asking more questions and checking my answers after completing my homework.
Still, in this unit, we have not used a single formula because of the fact that throughout this unit we are not allowed to use a calculator.
Below you will see examples of all adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing of radicals.
