This week in math we learned about angles in standard form. When working with these angles it is best to work with a drawing to help get the answer. For the drawing you would use an x,y grid and label the grid 90° at the top, 0° to the right, 270° at the bottom, and 180° to the left. For example, if you were given the rotational angle of 220°, it is a positive angle so it would move counter clockwise (negative goes clockwise), around the grid to where it would go.

This angle would be in quadrant 3, and the reference angle would be 40°, because 220-180 is 40.
