Math 10: Week 9 Reflection

This week I learned how to find the GCF in an algebraic equation. For the equation in the picture, first you look at all the coefficients and see what they all can be divided by. You then write that number down, after that you go through all the variables and see what one have the same and you find the largest number they all have and then write the variable and the exponent. The numbers in the brackets are the answers and the remaining variables.

  1. So how does this example connect to previous learnings? Is there a way to check to see if you’ve factored correctly?
